Stopped working

Someone please help. I have been using the ND 1000 scanner with my Windows 10 desktop until recently. It has stopped working. I get this message:

Neat is having difficulty loading scan components that power various functions in the application including scanning.

I understand that they have stopped offering customer support for the version of software used. I have removed and reloaded the software from both the disk included and on-line as well. Can someone tell me what I need to do to make the scanner work for me again. Thanks.

this didn't help me. I have no configuration file to delete. program wont open.

Please browse to your Neat database directory to address the issue. The default location for your Neat database directory is the “Neat Data” folder within the “Documents” folder of your Windows operating system.

If you do not see Neat Data in your Windows operating system Documents folder:

Open Neat and right-click on My Cabinet (at the top of the folder tree on the left side of the screen) and choose Properties. Now, you should see the path to your database displayed.Once you have located the Neat Data folder, you will want to browse to the QSP folder contained within and drag it out to your Desktop. Next, with the QSP on your desktop, try launching Neat again- the queue should now be cleared.

Kris, no. Don't put the QSP folder back in the Neat Data folder. The next time you launch Neat, a new QSP folder will automatically be created in the Neat Data location.
