Spencer - Oct 14, 2016 10:44AM

Is there a way to move my data from my PC to my new Mac without using the cloud?

The Windows and Mac versions of the legacy Neat software store their data in different formats, so there isn’t a direct way to move items from one program to the other. The easiest way to move your data is to export your items to PDF format, move them to the other computer, then importing them back in to Neat.

You can export several items to PDF at the same time – check here for steps: http://www.neat.com/helpcenter/exporting-pdf/
If you need steps to import PDFs to Neat on your Mac, please use the following link: http://www.neat.com/helpcenter/importing-item-neat-mac/

By far the best way is to set up a cloud account, sync your items up from PC and then down to a Mac version. You can then decide if you want to keep your handy Neatcloud account.

Both of the links worked for me but you have to copy and paste them in your browser.
