Retired Desktop Software :: Support Options

There are options available to you if you are uninterested in using the Neat cloud-powered software, or if you are unable to install the cloud-powered software.


Option #1: You can continue using the Legacy Desktop Software that you currently have installed.

While the software should still work, please keep in mind that as of April 30th, 2016; we are discontinuing agent-assisted support for the following versions of Neat:

  • Neat for Windows, versions 5.7 and earlier
  • Neat for Mac, versions 4.5 and earlier

Option #2: Continue using the Legacy Desktop Software, and start new with the Neat cloud-powered software.

Alternatively, you could keep your existing database in your current version of Neat and start a brand new database in the Neat cloud-powered software. You can have both versions of the software installed at the same time.

Please download and install the application from here. If you do not meet the minimum hardware recommendations for use with the Neat software, you may be able to use it after upgrading your computer.

Option #3: I am no longer interested in using the Neat software.
